During this conference, we would like to capture your ideas and proposals for a final document. This document should collect what we believe and what we propose for sustaining peace, particularly focusing on youth, cities, communities, and even what suggestions we may have for our planet and the international organisations, including the United Nations.
How does it work? By clicking on Joint Text Initiative (in languages that are not english it will be the third option which is the second of the two buttons titled “proposal”) and then on the next page click on the button “New Proposal”, then you can start making proposals, in your own language. Other people can then comment or vote by clicking on the buttons at the bottom for “In Favor”, “Neutral” or “Against”.
You can write the proposal and comments in your preferred language and others can do the same. This way everyone can comment in their own language and people must simply keep using the translation function.
At the end, a small team of representatives will look over all the proposals, take the most voted ones, and come up with a final document. This final document will then be uploaded to the Proposal section on the last day of the conference for people also to give feedback on.
Our goal is to have an organic document that includes voices and opinions from all participants and reflects the collective learning of this conference. While it is still an imperfect process, the goal of this participative and inclusive approach is to be as open as possible while still trying to produce a common document.
Thank you for your contribution.
